Love these plasticover soprano sax reeds and you have to use it for a little while to break it in until the reed is well broken in and then you have a very nice mellow sound coming out your sax.

This is my first time using the Plasticover reeds. I was using regular wooden reeds and having a lot of trouble with warping which made squealing happen frequently. Since using these Reeds I do not have that problem. My husband notices that my playing is more smooth and enjoys listening now that I am not squealing all the time. I will definitely reorder these when the time comes.

I love these Reeds! I never get a bad reed so I can use every single reed.
That's what makes these Reeds so Great!
I wished that "Rico" would package them in packs of ten, and discount the price.
This is a Great Product! 😃

smooth, drying time reduced. strong at the tip.

The reeds were better than I expected, but still lacking a little bit in quality of tone when I play a ballad on my soprano.
I have a 6 piece dance band featuring tunes of the big band era and the plastic covered reed does well when we play dixieland jazz.
I will have to use the reeds more to see how things turn out.
