Westcott Titanium-Bonded Scissors are lighter, stronger and sharper. Lightweight yet durable enough for any cutting job. From the Manufacturer: Scissors feature high-performance, titanium-bonded blades that provide three times the strength of stainless steel and resist corrosion. Scissors are ideal for paper, cardboard, lightweight line, fabric and other materials. Straight handles have a contoured soft grip.

Initially, I was very disappointed when these wouldn't easily cut open a large, thin cardboard envelope. I mentioned in a review that this wasn't a design flaw, but I still didn't think much of them, and didn't give them a great score as a result. Well, I was totally wrong about these scissors. For anything thin, these things cut better than a hot knife through butter. They work fine on anything made of paper, on the thin 'metallized' covering around sterile medical supplies, on thin plastic bags, for cloth (the purpose for which they are designed), and for the most part, just about anything else (that is thin) I've thrown at them. I knew they weren't designed for something like cardboard, but foolishly allowed that negative first impression to skew my initial review entirely. These scissors are very well engineered, and now that I've been using them for awhile, can say with confidence they work extraordinarily well, as long as I don't use them on something I know they weren't built to tackle. This/these is/are a great tool. I love it/them! :-)

Best scissors I've ever owned. Incredibly sharp, sharper than I've even gotten from a professional blade smith. The ends are pointed at an angle so that making a 2mm cut is no problem at all. Perfect for detailed cutting and works on all types of materials: fabric, tape, paper, yarn, string, leather, etc. Most people have a few pairs of scissors for different uses and this is the perfect one for precise and detailed cuts. The titanium makes them very durable and rust proof. I've just ordered my 2nd pair after 12 years. I still use the old pair as well, nice to have 2 so I don't have to go searching for them.

I love this scissor, it's the bomb. It's so small, and sharp as heck. perfect for what I got it for which is making coils/ vaping. Cutting my cotton down. Fit's nicely in my vape box and now I don't have to use the huge kitchen scissor when coil making. This is a great scissor so get one.

I originally got these scissors in a set (and all of them were fine precision tools) but this 5 inch pair are my "go to" scissors for most of my household and needlework needs. I loved them so much I just bought 3 more of the 5 inch so I can have a handy pair in each room. The Westcott brand assures me of a quality product and is a favorite brand of mine for rulers too.

I cut a lot of incredibly thin and delicate polyethylene sheets and these scissors work great when I need to make sizable cuts (little brother to these scissors used for smaller tasks). Nice and sharp with tight tolerances

These are perfect for doing my crafts. I do mostly papercraft and I love the precision.

Best scissors ever... so tiny, yet sharp enough for everything imaginable and so far no rusting!!! Great value!

I believe these scissors arrived broken since they were not cutting like normal (it felt like the blade was shifting a bit), and I could not figure out why. I ended up taking apart the scissors and found that the blade was broken. Looked online and it would be too much of a hassle to fill out their warranty claim and ship these back to them when they cost $5, so I took the time to fill out this review instead. I do not recommend these scissors.
